The hotel looks out on the main street of Healesville like a grand old lady, the front bar is made up of a series of rooms with pressed metal ceilings, polished floors & persian rugs. In winter the bar is warm & cosy with several open fires while in the warmer months the fabulous garden of the hotel a favourite spot to while away a sunny afternoon or balmy summers night.
The Food & Wine Menu offers seasonal & regional cooking featuring many pub classics with a twist. Our fish & chips are made with coopers beer batter, the steaks are dry aged by our butcher, the chorizo sausages are handmade filled with spanish spiced pork & served with green olive & potato salad. The Hotel bar plays host to some fabulous dishes see our current menu to the right- Food is available every day from midday till 9pm.
There is a large selection of cold beers and local cider on tap including white rabbit dark ale, james squires golden ale, trumer pils, stone & wood pacific ale and punt road apple cider, as well as many local & imported by the bottle.
The bar is a prefect place to while away a few hours with a good few cold ales. The Hotel Wine list offers a great selection by the glass and over 300, carefully selected from near & far, to choose from by the bottle. All our wines are available to takeway at some of the valleys best prices and we are open late!
The Harvest Bar is about casual eating with delicious food, cold beers & great wines by the glass, all orders are placed at the bar. Generally bookings are not taken but there is plenty of seating and tables tend to turn over, it may simply be a drink at the bar while we arrange you a table. For groups wanting to dine in the bar we have started taking limited midweek bookings.We are also able to offer the Harvest Cafe and our private rooms for group bookings from the Harvest Bistro Menu.
