AUTUMN 2013 in the YARRA VALLEY ...

Beautiful Autumn in the Yarra Valley. There is something special about the light at this time of year, clear blue skies, stormy rain and early twilights. The vines after yielding their fruit for vintage 2014 are now a patchwork of yellow, row upon row of golden leaves. We have just harvested the most incredible haul of pumpkins, with a little more rain there will be mushroom hunting and we are preserving & pickling the last of the summer crops. There’s plenty to do out and about, a walk around Maroondah Dam, visit the Tarra Warra museum of Modern Art, or simply go in search of a winemaker to talk about and taste his or her wines. Enjoy our beautiful Yarra Valley…

at the Healesville Hotel

Each Friday, Saturday & Sunday the Healesville Hotel Dining-Room gets dressed up for Quince Dining. Choose from a two or three course menu created each week or relax and treat yourself to our Tasting Menu - five courses from our kitchen which may be matched with some of the valley’s finest & unique wines. We take pride in sourcing our produce from inspirational and ethical local suppliers and from our own established Harvest Farm kitchen garden. Our experienced and passionate team including our General Manager Camm Whiteoak, Sommelier Ewan Proctor and kitchen lead by head chef Clinton Camilleri look forward to welcoming you to the next decade of dining at the Healesville Hotel.

Our Food & Wine Menu is available throughout the Hotel, through the week, lunch and dinner, midday until 9pm, from bar & garden to dining-room. Keep it casual in the bar and garden, order your food & drinks at the bar – keep an eye out for k&b specials and 8 beers on tap. The fantastic new option is to be able to book in the dining-room Monday to Thursday – the same Food & Wine Menu with fantastic service, some great seasonal specials and all the dining-room ambience. Now you can have the classic fish & chips in the dining-room or have a three course dinner with matched wines and Genovese coffee and petit fours to finish.
